As a Christian counselor, I bring a blend of psychology, counseling theory, and Biblical insight to the counseling session.  During my undergraduate program in Psychology and my graduate work in Counseling, I was exposed to all of the major counseling theories and paradigms.  The Master's Diploma in Biblical Counseling completed the loop by bringing the truth of God's Word as the ultimate authority.  I have a variety of resources at my disposal which I share with my clients as needed.  Counseling sessions generally take place once a week for one hour; however, each circumstance and each individual is different.  There may be times when more or less time is appropriate during a session.   The time between sessions can also vary.    Based on the sharing and discussion during a session, I typically assign 'homework' - reading and/or activities to take you further in your counseling process.  For more information about the counseling experience,  go to the Counseling Agreement and Informed Consent pages on this website.  Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
